In search of a senior pastor.
Phil grew up in Roxboro, NC and came to Winston Salem in 1970 to get his his education at Wake Forest University. He then went to Texas for 3 years at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. After graduation, He married Beth and they began their ministry together. Phil has served as Senior Pastor in three churches, spent 9 years as the Director of MIssions in Morganton, NC and served for 20 years as a Missionary in West Africa.
